HOW TO BECOME SLIM AND HEALTHY WITHOUT HASSLE???!!!!!

HOW TO BECOME SLIM AND HEALTHY WITHOUT HASSLE???!!!!!

If the measure of health is abundant energy, a youthful appearance and resistance to disease then how many of us could say we are healthy?
Don’t we sometimes feel tired and fatigued, strained and stressed? We look in the mirror and wonder what happened to our youthful countenance as the course of living takes its toll. What if there was a way to enjoy more energy and slow down the ageing process? Well, there is… and it’s so very simple to do.
The way we eat and the foods we choose make a vast difference to our health. But we’re not talking about another newfangled diet. It is an age-old way of eating. And the good news is that it is completely natural, delicious and easily integrated into any lifestyle.
We know the Essenes, the Hounzas, the Vilcabambas, the Brahmanes and other long-lived races, used these principles thousands of years ago. The Essene’s extensive knowledge of agriculture enabled them to cultivate many types of food in often-difficult conditions. Their diet consisted of ‘living foods’. Today, these living foods are also referred to as ‘biogenic’ which derives from the Greek word meaning ‘generating life’, first coined by the late Dr Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. He used living foods on thousands of patients suffering from serious illness with remarkable success. His “health ranch” is still active and receives thousands of people each year.
Biogenic classifications
The biogenic way of eating classifies foods into four groups, which describe their effect on our body and psyche.
Biogenic – life generating
Bioactive – life sustaining
Biostatic – life slowing
Biocidic – life destroying
Biogenic food is composed of all germinated and sprouted seeds and lacto-fermented vegetables and nuts.
They are energetically potent and can synthesize entirely new compounds and substances, required by the body to perform functions such as cell renewal and the elimination of harmful toxic substances such as heavy metals, free radicals and bacterias. The result is improved digestion, more resistance to disease and a lot more energy and awareness. Ideally our food intake should comprise at least 25% of biogenic food at the beginning of each meal to increase health.
Bioactive foods include fresh, raw, preferably organic, fruits and vegetables, raw seaweed, spirulina and bee products.
These whole, unadulterated foods have all their nutrients, amino acids and enzymes intact, which support life.
Natural raw foods are easy to digest and do not create toxicity in the body. They also help maintain the correct acid/alkaline balance, making it impossible for bacteria to proliferate in decomposing food, thus avoiding the fungus infection.
Our bioactive food intake should be at least 50% combined with biogenic food (at the beginning of each meal) for the same result as above.
Biostatic foods include any food cooked over 45 Celsius, long preserved food, raw and cooked pulses, processed cereals, dry nuts and brown sugar.
These denatured foods slow down the life process, require more energy to digest and create toxic by-products, which the body then has to find more energy to eliminate. If you choose to eat biostatic foods make sure you eat them after a large amount of living food for a healthier life-style.
Biocidic foods literally kill life. Included are all types of meat and dairy products, peanuts, cooked and raw oil yielding seeds and cereals, canned food, white sugar, salt, alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, chocolate, refined oils, all types of flour, food processing additives such as chemicals, colourings and preservatives, irradiated food, genetically modified food. These are the ones to avoid.

Fortunately, by eating predominantly biogenic and bioactive foods, and before occasionally indulging in biostatic and biocidic foods, our system will be in good enough shape to cope.
No more than 25% of these killer foods should be eaten.
(for those who chose to increase their health…)

If biostatic or biocidic foods are eaten first on an empty stomach our body identifies them as enemies. In defence, white immune cells are deployed to the area, thus depleting the enzymatic level, and over-stimulating the immune system which over time affects resistance to disease.
Living foods are recognized as friendly and this above response does not occur if they are eaten first.
So, and only for those willing to respect the Universal Laws regulating our body- always begin the meal with your 75 % of living food.

And avoid greasy and heavy dressings, at least before a solid consumption of living food.

The immune system will be a lot more comfortable, and we will re-discover the pleasure of natural food, without artificial (and toxic!) stimulants (salt, refined and cooked oils, etc…)

Please refer to the BASIC DAILY PROGRAM, for a more structured program.

The body’s intelligence
One of the remarkable things about eating living foods is that in a short period of time (generally within three days) the body becomes more sensitive to its own needs. Its innate intelligence is restored and active. Foods that are detrimental to health are immediately detected.
Another benefit is that the hypothalamus, which controls appetite, does its job properly by letting you know that you have had enough to eat. This makes weight control effortless without the need to count calories or restrict food intake.
Other benefits include a reversal of ageing, immunity from disease and infection is far greater and an abundant amount of energy is available to you. Many health problems may be avoided or eliminated by eating in this way.

For example skin complaints such as pimples or rashes can be quickly eliminated with living food based hygiene.
Skin problems indicate an impaired digestive function with toxic waste not being efficiently eliminated, as the large intestine is clogged and full of stored, putrefied, molded meat and dairy products, cooked cerals, and lacks the necessary enzymes to detoxicate properly, favorizing the formation of fungus and other Candidas.
Of course, when you first start with living foods, the elimination process kicks in which means that some symptoms may be aggravated by the detoxifying action.
However this is a good sign, showing that the body is strong enough and has sufficient energy to clean up the problem.
Just keep going with your new and much more natural way of Life!

Additional tips for conscious eating
Every time we eat our mood is amplified and energetically transmitted so that food prepared or eaten in anger, distress or unhappiness is a potential poison for the body.
It is best not to eat until you are emotionally balanced. Eat heartily and chew your food well. Digestion begins in the mouth and it is one of the keys to good health.
It is good to give thanks and gratitude for the food you eat. Your body believes what you tell it or ask of it so before eating, request that each cell in your body be completely nourished. In doing this you make the process of eating conscious.
Our body and psyche both have layers of behaviours which are firmly embedded. Making gradual changes ensures that reprogramming is more successful. Anything too drastic at once for the personal strength of the individual will guarantee discouragement and a quick return to old habits.

PRACTICAL TOOLS

HOW TO EAT A REALLY HEALTHY MEAL?!

· FIRST Most important tool in nutrition:

-chew!

The more the better.

Whatever you eat, chew it until the food is totally liquid!

Insalivating a lot our food is really important, it allows our stomach to focus on the next step of the digestion, decomposing proteins into amino acids, instead of digesting whole hard-unchewed food.

The Mahatma Gandhi used to say:
“Drink the solids, and chew the liquids!”

SECOND Most important tool in nutrition:

-Chew!

Horace Fletcher (a famous dietician from the first half of the 20th century) used to say:" if you don’t want to change anything in your diet, at least, chew everything until it is liquid, you will increase your health and lose weight just in doing so…”

THIRD Most important tool in nutrition:
(As you’ve already guessed…)

-CHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The strongest muscles in the human body are the jaw muscles!
And when we contract strongly and consciously a muscle, this muscle is relaxing.
And so do our mental and emotions, releasing tensions, just with the pleasure to eat…

FOOD COMBINATIONS

Another important tool to take care of in the diet is to avoid mixing food unable to coexist together.

For example:
A mango, eaten in an empty stomach, requires about 40 minutes of stomach digestion.

And requires also very specific digestive liquids…

A carrot requires about 3 hours and very different stomach liquids to be digested correctly.

So, if we mix them together in the same meal,
the mango, trapped in the stomach until the carrot is fully digested, will ferment for more than two hours, producing a high level of acidity (very un-healthy…and agitating the mental and intensifying the emotions!!…).
And the carrot, forced to bathe in the mango’s digestive liquids released by the stomach at the same time, will ferment too!!!!!!!!!!!
Thus increasing a very un-healthy process…

So, for those willing to increase their health, please separate fruits from any other dish than fruit!

WHEN to eat?!

After chewing our food, and marrying it accordingly, the most important tool increasing our health and level of Energy is to eat the right food at the right moment.( chrono-nutrition)

- from four a-m to noon, (Solar time) our body is designed and scheduled to eliminate toxins.

If we swallow, in the morning, anything heavier than fresh fruits and plain or soda water, our digestive tube has to choose between the detoxification process and the digestion.

Because it can’t allow food inside itself without digesting it, the stomach chooses to focus on the digestive process, and thus abandon the detoxification process…

Doing so, we keep our toxins, and add some more.

-From noon to eight pm, our body is ready to digest.

It’s the best moment to eat; our digestive tube is at his best for that.
Of course, depending of the Ayur Vedic Type (VATA-PITTA-KAPHA), some persons are more comfortable eating at noon, some others, in the afternoon, or later…

Each individual has to check by himself, through empiric experience, and/or with the help of an experienced naturopath!

-From eight pm to four am, the immune system is assimilating the nutriments issued from the digestion.

Eating whatever at this moment is slowing down this process.
It’s less” dangerous” for health than eating crap food in the morning, just less well…
And to have a late meal increases the risk of hangover, even in the absence of alcohol.

AN OTHER IMPORTANT TOOL FOR HEALTH:

In order to avoid “hyper-leucositosis post-prandial”, in other words, the spectacular explosion of the white cells in the blood stream following the ingestion of cooked food into an empty stomach, and only for those willing to respect the Universal Laws regulating our body:
Always begin any meal with some living food:

-Germinated and/or sprouted seeds
-Fresh and raw vegetables

And avoid greasy and heavy dressings, at least before a solid consumption of living food.

The immune system will be a lot more comfortable, and we will re-discover the pleasure of natural food, without artificial (and toxic!) stimulants (salt, refined and cooked oils, etc…)

Please refer to the BASIC DAILY PROGRAM, for a more structured program.

So, get your camera, take a snapshot of yourself, start your living foods way to good health and take another snapshot in two months.
And note the obvious difference!
Bon appetit!

THERE, SEVERAL BOXES IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN ARTICLE.

NO FRUITS, DRIED OR FRESH, NOR HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Dinner:
-same as lunch.
For snacks in the afternoon:
-eat one apple (or more!!!!!!!!!) before any snack.
(Apple is the ONLY FRUIT that can be combined with everything else!!!)
This program is NOT a regime; it is based on respecting the basic laws
commanding the human body.

Preparing germinated seeds
Soak in water:
- shelled sunflower seeds for 4 - 24 hours
- unhulled sesame seeds for 6 - 24 hours
- shelled pumpkin seeds for 12 - 24 hours.
Then, rinse in a colander under running water, drain and eat as you wish, adding these wonderful ingredients if possible to a raw vegetable salad and/or with any kind of dish. Store the rest in the fridge and rinse once a day.
Of course, other seeds may be germinated, however they are a little less straightforward than these three choices.

GERMINATED CEREALS AND PULSES

*Cereals: spelt, wheat, rye, etc…
*Pulses: beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc…

-Soak whole grains 12 hours in tap water.

-Then drop them into a colander

-Rinse them thoroughly

-Place the colander on top of a plate or a bowl.

-Store in the kitchen under a tea towel

-Rinse twice daily

-When the little white spot of the germ appears,
keep the process going for:

-24 hours for the cereals
-48 hours for the pulses.

-Then rinse one last time, and pour over your dishes.

Preparing fermented nuts
Place 50% raw almonds and 50% any other raw nut (except peanuts!) in a blender, cover with water and soak overnight. In the morning blend all ingredients until thick and creamy. Empty into a bowl, cover with a tea towel, keep at room temperature, and leave to ferment for 24 to 36 hours. The mix will expand once fermented.
Once fermented, transfer to the fridge and eat as you wish, adding such condiments as garlic, ginger, seaweed, green herbs for a salad dressing, or adding maple syrup, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla for a treat.

SPIRULINA

Spirulina is the most powerful and natural food money can buy.
It is microscopic “seaweed” growing into brackish waters.
Its spiraled form gave it her name!...

Spirulina has been used for ages by many different tribes
(In Chad and still now; in south-America, by the Aztecs...)
And now, the scientific community is re-discovering it!
Recently, the World Health Organization through out an analysis saying that the best source of proteins in the whole world is SPIRULINA!!!!!!!!

This microscopic kind of seaweed is full of:

-Amino-acids (high quality proteins under the most digestible form.)
-minerals (especially iron, under the most digestible form)
-vitamins (especially beta-carotene, for sun-tan and nice silky skin!...)
-Oligo-elements (such as copper, for the chocolate addicts!...)
-essential fatty-acids (for the hormonal balance)
-many other substances, essential for a healthy life.

Using Spirulina in the regular diet is INcreasing the:

-global health (and get rid of chronic fatigue)
-muscle gain (in every kind of sport practice)
-suppleness (joints problems)
-peace of mind (and help to deal with emotions)
-and many more positive effects!

Using Spirulina in the regular diet is DEcreasing the:

-hormonal imbalance (and the Pre-Menstrual Syndrome...)
-weight gain (without hassle!...)
-allergies, skin problems, constipation
-bulimia, anorexia
-hyper activity (for kids and adults...)
-addictions, deficiencies
-and many more positive effects!

How to take SPIRULINA?

Pour some powdered Spirulina into some water or vegetable juice
(Fresh pressed or bottled), stir a little, and drink!!!!!!
Or use a shaker for a quicker process...

More simple? That’s tough!

In case of weight problems, the best way for maximum effects is to take large amounts (twenty grams or more) of Spirulina fifteen to thirty minutes before every lunch and dinner. Thus, the centres of hunger will have the time to calm down, leaving us the ability to appreciate our meal, without being tempted to take a third (or more!) helping of mashed potatoes or pastas…

For a regular intake, large amounts (depending of the goals and rapidity sought) are to be taken just before the meal.

This can be done on a regular, or irregular basis, for a long period of time (for better results), or over a short period of time, or just as a booster.
(Exams, big party, holidays, preparation and during a trek, etc...)

SPIRULINA RECIPES
USING THE BLENDER…

Healthy appetizer:
In the blender bowl, put some sprouted alfalfa, any condiment (such as ginger, coriander, turmeric, cardamom, basil, etc…) half a glass of water (or any vegetable juice…) a couple of ice cubes, two to five (or more!...) soup spoonful of spirulina powder, blend thoroughly, and enjoy the life force!

Slimming shot:
In the blender bowl, put the same ingredients as above, and an apple(if possible a green one…) cut in quarters, and a handful of dried laver( nori seaweed)
Blend thoroughly and drink twenty minutes before the main meals (lunch and dinner).

Anti-hangover shots (before/during the party):
In the blender bowl, put some sliced celeriac and a green apple, a full glass of water, a couple of ice cubes, fresh ginger root, three to five(or more!...) soup spoonful of spirulina powder, blend thoroughly and then enjoy your party!
And the day after too!...

LIVING SAUCES
-----------------------

In the blender, mix some water, germinated sun flower seeds, colored vegetables (beet root's my favourite!) Green condiments, spices and/or spirulina.

If you find it too liquid, add some seaweed and/or germinated sunflower seeds

Pour over your salad.

Enjoy your meal!...

You can do the same with fermented nuts
(With/without germinated sun flower seeds)

And the same with fruits (dried or not), that you can pour on fruits meals.
Just respect the food combinations for a healthy life!

HEALTH TRICK.

The use of a tongue-scratcher, thoroughly, and just before any meal or snack, will decrease the appetite drastically.
This simple act will de-activate some of the hunger centres, situated along the tongue and at the end of the throat, thus enabling us to appreciate our meal and avoiding any binge cravings and bulimia…

All these doshas are inter-related and inter-connected.

For example, blood circulation is a Vata function, blood is produced by Kapha, and it distributes the nutrients supplied by Pitta to the whole body.

We see through this example that the so-called and self-proclaimed “diet experts” launching a new “fashion regime” are unbalancing scores of people, victims only of a lack of good information…

The Ayur Vedic Medicine is five thousands years old.

With this vast amount of experience, we can learn how to balance ourselves, especially with the help of specific condiments and spices, alongside of various yogas and attitudes.

For example, nutmeg is highly recommended at dinner in case of insomnia, fresh grated ginger in case of slow stomach digestion, germinated fenugreek is excellent to help support weak nerves, etc…

Some condiments are well known to balance all the doshas:
· Lesser cardamom pods. (The small green one.)
· Coriander. (fresh or dried)
· Turmeric.

All of the above condiments should be added-dried and/or fresh-as often as possible, to any diet, even prior to a consultation of an ayurvedic doctor.
